This Memorial Day (May 25, 2020) Junk Joeys was a sponsor and drove the blue dumpster truck in the finale of a local Pittsburgh neighborhood parade. The neighborhood celebration was organized by Todd’s (of Junk Joeys) sister Leslie (of Howard Hanna).

The celebration was a hit, and the neighbors loved it. Plus a flyer was sent out prior to the event asking neighbors to line their yards with flags and so many people participated. It looked great along the road!

Watch the full video, and wait ‘til the end to catch a glimpse of the Junk Joeys truck in action!

Organizer, Leslie of Howard Hanna thanked Junk Joeys for their support and participation in making this Memorial Day so special:

“Junk Joeys, LLC was asked to participate in the Memorial Day parade I was planning. I was hoping to include the best haul out company I know. Junk Joeys graciously offered to co-sponsor the parade which was greatly appreciated and enthusiastically welcomed. This parade honored those who sacrificed for us; who paved the way to be able to do what we did yesterday. We humbly thank those soldiers and pray for their families. We extend a huge thank you to all the Oakhurst residents who participated and Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Department; always an amazing display. We were honored to have a USMC veteran in his 5 ton military truck “The Hulk”, and Metro Public Safety with his privately owned fire truck.

This parade was planned to honor those who stood bravely in the line of fire for the good of those at home. We gathered bravely in the face of a different kind of threat, we can only hope we represented you well.

I look forward to planning more activities for the Oakhurst neighborhood and will be inviting Junk Joeys, LLC to work with me to bring our neighborhood as much joy as possible!”

Just another way Junk Joeys and Leslie from Howard Hanna are trying to help the community and SUPPORT THOSE WHO SERVED!
